SITE: Weston-super-Mare

In the Italian Gardens of the English holiday town of Weston-super-Mare, the face of the statue of Vanity is pitted and deformed by wind erosion and the effects of acid rain. Nearby, a headless stone hawk has caught in its claw a stone sparrow it will never be able to devour or release.
